This cake order came from a long way away…Tunisia, to be exact.  It was a third birthday cake for the granddaughter of an old friend, who was going to be in Canada for her birthday.

They were hoping for enough cake and cupcakes to feed up to 18 people, and were really drawn to my “Heaven and Hell” cake, but they wanted something “girly-er”. We decided on vanilla for the cupcakes, so there would be something for kids who liked things a little simpler.

I added some fondant flowers and vines, and made hardened fondant toppers for the cupcakes, so they would be easily removeable.
